Nicole Wachter<\/h1><p>Pastor Nicole Wachter grew up Jefferson, MD and was an active member of the Lutheran church that baptized her, raised her up, and nurtured her faith.\u00a0 She served in her home congregation as the youth and family minister, as well as the office administrator for many years.\u00a0<\/p><p>Pastor Nicole attended Hood College in Frederick, MD and received a Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Psychology in 2006.\u00a0 She went on to attend Loyola College in Columbia, MD and received a Master\u2019s Degree in Pastoral Counseling in 2009.\u00a0 It was during her time at Loyola that she felt the call to ministry and began taking classes at the Lutheran Theological Seminary at Gettysburg (now United Lutheran Seminary!)\u00a0 In her time at seminary, she spent a year of training at Carroll Lutheran Village in Westminster, MD and completed her internship year in Woodbridge, VA.\u00a0 She graduated from seminary with a Master\u2019s of Divinity in May 2012 and was ordained in December of 2012 in the Lower Susquehanna Synod.\u00a0 She served her first congregation in central Pennsylvania for 10 years before moving back to the Delaware-Maryland Synod and here to St. Luke\u2019s in New Windsor, MD.\u00a0<\/p><p>Pastor Nicole has two of the best parents out there and a loving, supportive family network.\u00a0 She is the oldest of 3 and has two brothers, both of whom are married and with two children.\u00a0 She does a fair amount of spoiling when it comes to her young nieces and nephews and they are her greatest sources of joy!\u00a0 She is excited to return home and thrilled to be serving alongside the good folks of St. Luke\u2019s.\u00a0<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div
